Four options are available for rotating pictures. Three of them are obvious choices of 180 degrees, 90 degrees clockwise (rotate right) and 90 degrees counter clockwise (rotate left). If you have that kind of camera Photo Gadget Pro can also rotate pictures based on EXIF information so you can fix the whole folder of pictures easily as the program will rotate only pictures that really need to be rotated (portrait pictures) and skip the rest (landscape pictures). Lossless rotation is available for JPG files.

When resizing pictures with Photo Gadget Pro you can choose one of four available preset sizes, 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 240x320 (320x240) or you can set any custom picture size you want. With "keep aspect ratio" option enabled the program will maintain the original picture proportions and with "do not enlarge if smaller" pictures smaller than the target size will be skipped. When resizing pictures in JPG format you can set a target file size.

Crop function is rich with options so you can make a free rectangular selection, set fixed size crop area or use keep aspect option to constrain proportions while selecting crop area.

There are six options for positioning text or graphics on a picture: top left, top center, top right, bottom left, bottom center and bottom right. You can also set positioning margins that represent the distance from the text or graphics and respective edges of a picture. Framing is simple single or double outline where you set line width and colors.

Available effects and filters are grayscale, invert colors, sepia and flip. Grayscale transforms the original picture so colors contained in the output picture are only black, white, or any shade of gray. Invert colors creates a color negative of the original picture so all color values in the output picture are inverted values of colors contained in the original. Sepia is a brown pigment used in the past for printing photographs. The effect is popular in digital photography as well. Flip is a mirror-like effect with two options, horizontal or vertical.

To rename selected pictures you will just set renaming mask and the program will automatically show you a list of newly generated names in the right column of the preview table. Special symbols allow you to use original name, current date/time and counter in the renaming mask.

Supported input/output picture formats: JPG, BMP, TIFF, PNG, PCX and TGA. When converting pictures to JPG format you can set a target file size.
